A Victorian Christmas continues

museumcandlethYou will be welcomed to the Clinton County Historical Museum at 106 Maple, St.Johns, MI by a beautiful Christmas display

in the foyer and garland, dried flowers and bows decorating the banister.

The fir tree is decorated in Victorian style with older style ornaments recently donated. There are unique items on display for the first time, so plan a visit to see all the museum has to offer.

The Police and Fire Exhibit is ongoing through the Christmas Season, closing after December 18.


The house is open on Wednesdays 2-6 p.m. and Sundays 1-4 p.m. The Complex is at 106 Maple Street, St. Johns, on the West side of the Courthouse. Visit the website: and Facebook for Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum, St. Johns, Michigan. Group and individual tours are welcome.

The Museum is supported entirely by community donations. A Memorial Endowment Fund exists for those that want a permanent record in the Museum Memorial Book to remember the loss of a family or friend.

The Archives of the Clinton County Historical Society is available to anyone researching families and history of Clinton County and is open at 16101 Brook Rd, Lansing, MI.
