Vintage wedding dresses on display at Museum
Vintage wedding dresses are on display at the Paine-Gillam-Scott House until the end of July.
The photo shows they were not always white or ivory color. Sometimes they were made of different colors and fabrics that were available.
For August and September women’s accessories will be on display. Hats, purses and jewelry, just to name a few.
The 2019 Exhibit Police and Fire Departments is still on display, and the painting of Old St. Johns sites is on display in the school room.
The Clinton County Historical Museum includes Paine-Gillam-Scott House, Swegles General Store and the Carriage House. Open Wednesdays, 2-6 p.m. and Sundays, 1-4 p.m. They are closed on holiday weekends.
The museum is located at 106 Maple St., St. Johns, Michigan west of the courthouse. Group tours and individual tours are welcome. For more information contact us at 989-224-2894, email PGSmuseum@gmail.com. Visit the webpage, PGSmuseum.com or Facebook-Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum.
