Museum features antique table settings

December 13, 2018

museumtablethThe dining room table at the Paine-Gillam-Scott House Museum features dishes from the museum’s collection.

The table is covered with a lace tablecloth with amber serving pieces, gold rimmed goblets and place settings. These are just a few of the beautiful serving dishes you can see when touring the dining room.

In the kitchen, the table is set with a 1907 china chocolate set, hand-painted by Abby Corbin, who was taught china painting by Mrs. Rose Gillam.
