Fraser fir featured at museum

museumtreethA beautiful Fraser Fir tree, decorated by one of the volunteers, is featured in the library area of the parlor

at the Paine-Gillam-Scott House Museum. The tree was donated by Art Wainwright.

Decorated with handmade ornaments, vintage glass ornaments with candles in holders from the days when real candles where placed on real trees and lit on Christmas Eve. A bucket of water was placed by the tree, just in case of a fire.


The museum is open Wednesdays 2- 6 p.m. and Sundays 1-4 p.m. through Sunday, December 16.
