Museum seeking early farm photos
Farming will be the featured exhibit at the Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum in 2016.
The changes in farming methods and advancements in farm machinery over the last hundred years has been truly phenomenal, and with your help, your family farm can be part of an interesting and educational exhibit showing what life was like on a Clinton County farm many years ago.
We are looking for early Clinton County farm related photos. Field scenes with horses or early tractors, the milk truck that picked up your canned milk, your old sawmill, mint still or photos of maple sugar operations are just a few examples.
We can scan your photos, so you can keep the originals. We can even pick up and return your photos if you are unable to travel.
Contact the Museum at 989-224-2894, pgsmuseum@hotmail.com or Ron Matson 989-224-3064. Thank you for helping us preserve the history of your family’s farm.
