Museum now open
Wednesdays and Sundays
Paine-Gillam-Scott House Museum is now open for the 37th season.
The special exhibit this year highlights Clinton County Schools. Artifacts and photographs take us back in time when there were many rural township schools. A permanent Military Display has artifacts from the Civil War through the Vietnam War and Calendar Hall on the second floor explores the history of the “Beginning of Clinton County” up to 1960. Other areas in the 1860’s house show what it was like in past times and don’t miss the General Store and Carriage House displays.
Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum will be open during the Mint Festival Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 from 1 – 4p.m.
For Special Tours and Programs, please contact the Museum at email pgsmuseum@hotmail.com or call Jan Upton at 989.292.9096.
The museum is located at 106 Maple St., Saint Johns, MI 48879. Our hours are 2 – 7p.m. Wednesdays and Sundays, 1 – 4p.m.
